ASM Member 2006 Australian of the Year

FUNDING TO STAGE STRATEGICALLY SIGNIFICANT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCES
IN AUSTRALIA

 

The Sir Mark Oliphant Conferences – International Frontiers of Science and Technology provide financial support to stage strategically significant international conferences in Australia on high priority, cutting edge, multi-disciplinary themes. The Conferences series is managed on behalf of the Australian Government by the Australian Academy of Science and the Australian Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering.

 

The Academies invite applications for funding to hold conferences between 1 July 2008 and 30 June 2009. Each conference can be supported to an amount of up to $90,000.

Funding Available
 
The Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (previously DEST), has advised         that   the 2008 round of the Australia-China Special Fund for Scientific and Technological Cooperation will be open for applications from 1 February to 28 March, with supporting documentation such as referee reports (where required).
